We remember our roles we play,
They might be unpleasant,
But we hold on hope at a distant,
On this day...
In search for peace,
Displaced from beloved countries,
Thirsty for education,
Essence with a vision,
On this day.
Our eyes are set high,
Far above the sky,
Our limit leaning on believable hope,
In search of a better life we will not stop,
On this day.
Our hearts are filled with joy,
For the unconditional help you employ,
Though this day brings with it sad memories,
We will not cease to pry for a better future for refugees,
On this day.
With thanks giving,
We can not fully express our gratitude,
For organizations which have laid foundations,
For our positive attitude,
But to look up to God,
Be blessed in one accord,
On this day.
